  • 1. How does iplanit integrate with existing systems?

    Iplanit comes with something called an API which helps iplanit integrate with your existing systems. Talk to us about the type of integration that suits your situation. Is it live exchanges of data or downloadable files?

  • 2. Who are iplanit’s partners?

    We are experts in client management. Others are experts in rostering, workforce, HR, finance, fundraising…and so on. Talk to us about the kind of solution you are looking for and we will suggest form our partner list who best can meet your needs.

  • 3. What types of organisation can iplanit support?

    iplanit is suited to any organisation focused on providing services to adults or children across the social care spectrum from learning disability, mental health, supported housing to older people and supported employment.

    Iplanit is specifically designed to be affordable and rapidly deployed and is suitable for regional organisations supporting below 100 service users to national providers supporting thousands. Iplanit is being used in every setting from intensive, multi-disciplinary, residential supports to very occasional, floating support in community based services.

  • 4. Does iplanit work for any size team?

    Absolutely. The service is specifically geared to be able to scale from small teams of individual professionals to support large public sector clients. Critically we also support controlled inclusion of service users/family/carer input into the team activities.

  • 5. Is iplanit a case management system?

    Yes, iplanit can be used for case management across all types of human service environments. Because iplanit is configurable, we can help you build a case management system that suits your organisational needs. 

  • 6. Can iplanit be used by service users and families?

    Yes. Although iplanit is primarily for service providers, we have incorporated a wide range of features to promote active participation by service users, families and carers where possible.

  • 7. Does iplanit connect with the NDIA portal?

    Yes. Currently iplanit exports information on National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) services to an individual to an Excel or CSV file. This information can then be uploaded to the NDIA portal. 

  • 8. Can iplanit be used with my existing systems and processes?

    Yes. We have specifically developed a secure interface called ‘iplanit CONNECT’ to allow service providers to link their existing systems and processes. There are also various options for aligning data from iplanit with NDIS software. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

  • 9. Who developed iplanit?

    The developer behind iplanit is Aspirico, a group of Ireland-based technology veterans and social care executives who founded the company in 2006. The company is motivated by a driving passion to promote inclusion, transparency and person-centred service delivery.

  • 10. How long will iplanit take to install and implement?

    As it is a cloud-based service, there is no need to install software or months training on specialised systems. Throughout the implementation process, our development team will work with you to customise iplanit for a quality outcome. For a small organisation, we can have you up and running within three months.

  • 11. How do I find out whether iplanit will work for my team or organisation?

  • 12. What planning approaches, goals and report templates are included in iplanit?

    We have included a wide range of person-centred plans from Australia, the UK and Ireland. This includes standard templates such as MAP and PATH. Our team will work with you to ensure your approach to planning, risk management and intake is incorporated into iplanit. 

  • 13. Can we incorporate our own planning templates, reports and goals/outcomes?

    Yes, during the iplanit configuration process, we will work with you to embed your planning templates and approaches to support. We have also created a range of intelligent wizards that take the hard work out of updating or adding new content as circumstances change.  

  • 14. Is the privacy and confidentially of my data protected in iplanit?

    Yes. All data entered into iplanit is stored in our Melbourne based data centre, which meets the highest industry standards. Because all information is stored in Australia, the data retained in iplanit is subject to Australian law including the Federal Privacy Act 1988.

  • 15. How do you charge for iplanit?

    Iplanit is charged for on an annual subscription basis which is based on the number of service users which the provider works with. This allows prospective users to quickly get up and running on the system without any capital costs or infrastructure requirement. Client specific changes can be added and tailored remotely in a much more cost effective manner than traditional systems.

  • 16. Is confidential data secured in iplanit?

    Yes, our Melbourne based data centre meets the highest industry standards. Because we retain all information in Australia all private and confidential information is subject to Australian law including the Federal Privacy Act 1988.
